This week with all the riots going on in London and around the UK, it was such a relief to arrive at our tranquil Esher doggie day care centre. The Dog all arrive with not a care in the world from London, Cobham, Oxshott and Esher and for the Esher dog walkers it is like a breath of fresh air. Talking about all the fresh air, we are very lucky to have our own two private, securely fenced, five acre, fields for the dogs to run around in and enjoy. It definitely beats a crowded common or park in the summer!
Summer seems to have arrived too, the past couple of days have been beautiful and sunny. The Esher dogs have all put the pool at doggie day care to good use. With not only the Labradors and Spaniels having a swim but also the Jack Russell’s and Terriers too. One of our West Highland Terriers favorite thing to do is lie down in the dogs drinking bucket. It is the perfect size for him to lie down in and cool off. The Esher dog walkers keep a close eye on the water bucket, cleaning and filling it up periodically throughout the day.
The Esher dog walkers also discovered that right next to the doggie day care fence, is heavily laden black berry bush full of ripe fruit. The dogs were all very curious as to what their dog walker was snacking on, so each one of the dogs had a blackberry to try. The Labradors all wolfed it down without even tasting it, but that was a given really. The other dogs all gently took it in their teeth and once tasting it spat it straight out, gave their Esher dog walker a look and trotted off. Every day is definitely a new adventure at doggie day care, even if it is just trying out and tasting something new.
