This past week has been a very exciting one, for all the Esher Dogs and their dog walkers at the Bruce’s Dog walkinanddoggie day care centre. The video that was due to be filmed the previous week was cancelled due to bad weather. Luckily this week we have had picture perfect weather and were able to go ahead with the filming of the Bruce’s Dog Walking promo video.
It was a beautiful sunny day and once all the dogs had been picked up from London, Chiswick and Esher, the filming could comence. We structured the day like any other and once all the dogs had settled down, we took them for a lovely long walk in the securely fenced five acre fields at the doggie day care centre. The Esher dogs were all very intruiged by the men following them around with a camera! Espcially their big fluffy microphone, the dogs were jumping and diving trying to get a hold of it!
Luckily all the dogs soon got distracted when we headed off after our walk to take the dogs for a swim. The fun started when the dogs all piled into the pool and started playing and splashing around. Its was like a public lido for dogs because as soon as one of the dogs jumped out, the next one would jump in. The Labradors have this great game they play and it almost looks they are doing a dance in the pool. Very cute! They use their front paws to feel along the bottom of the pool, and see if they can find any treasures. We have bought them some toys that sink to the bottom now and its always a race to see who can find the toy first. Seeing how much fun Labradors are having more of the dogs are starting to join in and getting involved.
Then we headed off and took the dogs for a rest in the shade, after all the activity the dogs were all huffing and puffing. It’s one of the Esher dog walkers favouite times as they get to give each one the dogs individual attention and love. The dogs love it too and they all seem to form a que and take their turns to sit on their Esher dog walker’s laps and get a cuddle!
By that stage in the day it was almost time to pack up and head home. The camera men were pretty satisfied that they had captured enough footage of the dogs having fun at doggie day care. Now we just cross our fingers and look forward to the end result!
