Bruce Casalis

Bruce's Dog Walking was founded by Bruce Casalis.

Bruce is a lifetime dog owner and dog lover. From his early days as a toddler found sleeping in a crate with the litter of puppies, Bruce has been genuinely passionate about dogs, their behaviour and dog psychology.

Bruce has always aspired to successfully run his own business and started his first company when he was 20 and still at university in Australia. After settling in London, it was a natural progression for Bruce to combine his passion for dogs with his entrepreneurial ambitions to build a business by delivering an extraordinary concept and service to the London pet care market.

During his years of running a typical dog walking service in London, Bruce developed a passion for bringing a better alternative to a standard London dog walk. After more than a year of planning and hundreds of phone calls, Bruce realised his dream of launching a doggy day care centre and crèche to “bring the country life to a London dog”.

Joanne van Rensburg

Joanne is the longest serving member of the Bruce’s Dog Walking team and is an integral part of the pack. An animal lover since childhood, Joanne grew up surrounded by dogs and cats in her home and has always wanted to work with animals.

After following her passion for food, Joanne became a chef and worked her way up to become a senior pastry chef at renowned establishments such as Harvey Nichols’ Fifth Floor Restaurant.  However, her passion for animals bubbled to the service and Joanne joined Bruce’s Dog Walking as the first member of staff. Joanne is now Bruce’s right hand lady, responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the Day Care Centre.

The Team

The team at Bruce’s Dog Walking consists of around five other full and part time fellow dog loving staff and professional drivers. The team operate under the supervision of Bruce and/or Joanne, who are at the centre every day.
